Two unique technologies are used when you have Vancouver Lasik Vision correction done with Dr. Will.  The first is a device known as IntraLase.  This laser allows Dr. Will to create a very thin corneal flap with specific parameters that best fit your specific needs.  Patients with larger pupils or thinner corneas require different considerations than someone with a thicker cornea, smaller pupils or lighter correction.  All these factors can be programmed into the laser and a flap is created specifically for you and your visual requirements.  This method is far more accurate and much safer than the traditional method using a mechanical blade system.

The second part of the Vancouver Lasik Vision procedure employs the use of another type of laser to gently remove the tissue for your correction.  There are numerous lasers to accomplish this, however, just like in the car market there are vast differences in quality and reliability.  Dr. Will has chosen to use the Visx StarS4 with iris recognition.  This laser utilizes technology used in space exploration to map out and treat minor imperfections that keep you from seeing as well as you possibly could.
