Adjunct Clinical Professor at Pacific University School of Optometry


Will Vision and Laser Centers are pleased to announce that Dr. Will has achieved the status of Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Pacific University College of Optometry. 

In that role, Dr. Will actively contributes to the education of the next generation of optometrists.  Students from the University rotate
through a rigorous clinical preceptorship at the three Will Vision and Laser Center locations, obtaining a broad exposure to the science and methodology of advanced vision correction surgery.

The Pacific University College of Optometry promotes excellence in eye care through education, service and research.  College faculty, fellows, students and staff deliver professional and ethical vision care and play an important professional role in the public service and health care community in the Portland and Southwest Washington region.

Dr. Will’s contribution to the College of Optometry includes instructing
students in the art and science of the rapidly expanding field of laser vision correction.  Dr. Will has presented research data at nearly every major ophthalmic scientific meeting for the past 10 years and has frequently been an invited speaker at venues featuring industry leaders and innovators.  He is a recognized world authority on Femtosecond laser technology and corneal pathology.  His current research interests include understanding how interstitial fluid pressure in the cornea affect refractive surgical outcomes as well as cause pathologic conditions including Diffuse Lamellar Keratitis and Central Toxic Keratopathy.
