Appointment as Councilor, Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center

Will Vision and Laser Centers is very happy to announce that Dr. Will has been appointed as Councilor to the Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center in Loma Linda, California.  The Councilors interface directly with Dr. Richard Hart, MD, DrPH, Chancellor and CEO of Loma Linda University, President and Chief Executive Officer of Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center (LLUAHSC) and President of the Loma Linda University Medical Center.

The Councilor organization consists of healthcare leaders, medical professionals and successful industry executives that serve to advise Dr. Behrens regarding strategic growth planning.  They also have a demonstrated ability to support the Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center through fund raising and philanthropy.

As part of Dr. Will’s contributions as Councilor, Dr. Will is committed to the establishment of an International Institute for Vision Sciences at the Loma Linda University Medical Center.  Dr. Will’s vision is that the Institute will serve patients in the Inland Empire with leading edge eye care and expand the clinical and basic science research programs at Loma Linda University.  Most importantly, in keeping with the mission of Loma Linda University “To Make Man Whole”, the Institute will provide high level support and training for eye care professionals around the world as well as establish, fund and energize programs that provide high quality eye care for needy patients in every corner of the globe.
