Appointment to Adjunct Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University School of Medicine

Will Vision and Laser Centers are pleased to announce that Dr. Will has achieved the status of Adjunct Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine.  The Department of Ophthalmology provides leading edge eye care services for millions of people while servicing the largest geographic region in Southern California.  The department is currently experiencing unprecedented growth and expansion under the guidance of Dr. Howard Gimbel, a leading world authority on Cataract and Refractive surgery. 

Loma Linda University Medical Center operates some of the largest clinical programs in the United States in areas such as neonatal care and outpatient surgery and is recognized as the international leader in infant heart transplantation and proton treatments for cancer.  There are more than 400 faculty physicians that support its many programs and services. 
Each year, the institution admits more than 33,000 inpatients and serves roughly half a million outpatients. As the only tertiary-care hospital in the region, the Loma Linda University Medical Center is the only level one regional trauma center for Inyo, Mono, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties.

Dr. Will has presented research data at nearly every major ophthalmic scientific meeting for the past 10 years and has frequently been an invited speaker at venues featuring industry leaders and innovators.  He is a recognized world authority on Femtosecond laser technology and corneal pathology.  His current research interests include understanding how interstitial fluid pressure in the cornea affect refractive surgical outcomes as well as cause pathologic conditions including Diffuse Lamellar Keratitis and Central Toxic Keratopathy.
