How
long does it last?

The change to the cornea is permanent.
So long as there are
not other internal
or health factors that
are causing the eye to
continually change prescription (genetic factors, diabetes,
cataracts…), the effects of the procedure should last indefinitely.
Nevertheless, should the vision change in the future, additional
procedures could be performed so long as there is enough corneal tissue
remaining. However, as there are
advances in medical technology in the next decade or
two, there may well be other options in those instances.
