Milestone of 35,000 LASIK Procedures Performed Reached at WVLC

Will Vision and Laser Centers is pleased to announce the achievement of a new milestone in personalized vision correction.  Thousands of patients have now trusted the gift of vision to the skill and passion of the Will Vision team and to the exceptional surgical skills of Dr. Brian Will.  Since opening our flagship center in Vancouver in 1998, Will Vision and Laser Centers has performed over 35,000 laser vision correction procedures in Southwest Washington and Oregon.  Worldwide, only a handful of surgeons have attained such an achievement and even fewer that have consistently insisted in only utilizing the most advanced technology available for all patients.

He pioneered the development of Intralase Femtosecond laser technology, has authored textbook chapters on Femtosecond technique and is considered a world authority on the Intralase.  He has also redefined the pathophysiology, etiology and treatment for some of the most important complications of laser vision correction including Diffuse Lamellar Keratitis, Central Toxic Keratopathy and intraoperative epithelial defects.  Will Vision also was the first to introduce high-speed eye tracking and wavefront guided laser photoablation technology to the Pacific Northwest.  Dr. Will’s accomplishments and teaching acumen have propelled him to accept two academic appointments including being appointed Adjunct Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and Adjunct Clinical Professor at Pacific University School of Optometry.  His clinical skills are highly appreciated by his peers who have nominated Dr. Will to the honor of being recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America – a status that only 5% of physicians ever achieve.
